Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam in Reading is an initiative of Telugu Association of Reading & Around. All donations are made to TARA UK and used towards organising this grand event near to your home. Please donate generously.

Annadhanam

Annadhanam refers to the practice of donating food.

Annam para Brahma swarupam” (Food is the essence of life/ the Lord of Creation.). This age-old quote from the Upanishads has a very deep meaning. Food gives life, so annadhanam is also considered pranadhanam (donation of life), thus it is known to be divine.

Kalyana Mandapam

The Kalyana Mandapa, an open pavilion, was used for ceremonies involving the symbolic marriage of the temple's divinity to his consort. Devotees are offered to donate for the costs involved in preparing the Kalyana Mandapa for Lord Sri Venkateswara.
